Affordable amethyst can be hit or miss. This is true for all stone, but given the color variation of amethyst, folks' complaints generally have to do with color. I will admit that at larger sizes you do often have more visual interest and more vibrant colors. That said, I'd trust this seller to always put out the best pretties possible. I love a deeper purple but like to see some white inclusions, and that's exactly what I got. Didn't have to request it. Checks the smooth finish box. Just about as good as glass. Comfy fit (the wearable area is a good middle ground—not too short, not insanely long). I love the concave cut. Always quick shipping, as well.
