These are really beautiful. This is a little sappy, but I have had to switch to glass gauges after my immune system betrayed me. I am immunocompromised, and it started to affect my skin about a year ago. I am in my 30s, and have had my ears stretched since was 12. I have always worn silicone or acrylic. I am currently on acne treatment and wash my face 3x a day. I noticed my ears becoming inflamed and itchy despite ensuring being thoroughly washed, rinsed, and dried. So O decided to buy some glass tunnels but wanted to try something different. I USUALLY would pick something basic but couldn't stop thinking about these. If you're on the .fence, just get them. They're incredibly well made and all around beautiful.
