Love the flash on these gauges! The flares, instead of having a flat or concave face, are convex, which allows light to hit the stone well from multiple angles. If you're like me and occasionally use body-safe oil to get new jewelry in, just be aware that these guys can be slippery and trickier to maneuver than gauges with flat faces. Not a bad feature, just something to be aware of.
